At Reclaimed Realms, we believe books can hold deep sentimental value and having a beautiful display of your favorites will transport you into your favorite stories.

During this digital age, millions of books are being thrown away or recycled. Reclaimed Realms gives a book a second life with this magnificent hanging wall decor. Most of the books chosen by us come from a recycling center after being discarded by libraries for various reasons. Books requested for custom orders are located through online sellers. We try to preserve as many books as possible and search for damaged items that we are able to use for the artwork. We try to rescue any historical, classic, first editions and religious works to the best of our ability at recycling centers. These works are preserved and donated to the appropriate community. Source Books

Reclaimed Realms sources its books from a variety of places, including second-hand bookstores, libraries, and individuals looking to de-clutter their homes. We also work with book recyclers to ensure that our materials are completely recycled and reused. Our reclaimed books are carefully selected, cleaned, and prepared for use in our art, making them both beautiful and sustainable.

Prepare and Dye Books

Our books are carefully prepared to give them that authentic, aged look. We take pride in our meticulous attention to detail, repairing any damage and preserving the best pages. Each book is carefully tea stained to give it a unique, old-world feel and blown dry by hand to ensure no mildew growth and thorough drying

Mount and Secure Pages

Our process begins with securing the spine and pages to the book to ensure nothing comes loose. We then mount the books to frame backing, and fold and secure all displayed pages in a way that shows off the uniqueness of each story. If multiple books are selected, our artist curate the design to compliment each other. After the books are completed, they are carefully and beautifully packaged alongside multiple accent pieces and looseleaf pages to ensure a safe delivery.

Shipping

We understand the importance of quality and attention to detail in each order, which is why we take the time to source and create each piece to your exact specifications. Depending on the size of your order and the title of the book, it may take up to 1-3 weeks to complete. Once your order is complete, it will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and delivered within 3-5 business days depending on your location. We do understand that some orders need to be rushed for various reasons and reccommend that you reach out before ordering to ensure delivery times.
